
When I returned to Erie after living in Toronto for college and Pilates training, no one here knew what Pilates was. The idea of bringing this restorative practice to my hometown lit me up inside. In the Fall of2001, I started with 10 clients in their homes and one class at a local gym. Three short months later, I opened Erie's first Pilates studio.. It was me, two reformers, and 1,000 sq ft of opportunity. 25 years later, we are in studio number three with beautiful wide open space, fully fitted with all of the bells and whistles, and complete team of expert instructors.
What I loved most about Pilates then and now is that it truly works for everyone (not just the “super athletic”). No matter your level, Pilates can help you improve mobility, balance, posture, flexibility, and core strength, while also offering mental and emotional benefits like lower stress, better moods, and more restful sleep. We hear regularly from our clients that they leave class feeling energized, refreshed, and ready for whatever their day brings.
With a career spanning over two decades, I’ve been a dedicated Pilates instructor since 1999. Since founding my first studio in 2002, my mission has been to create inclusive programming that is truly for everyone. My approach is rooted in a simple belief: consistent work on the 'small things' is the secret formula for reaching your biggest goals. I know life can be draining, which is why I’ve designed my programs to be a total reset. My favorite part of the day is watching a client arrive feeling 'down' and leave feeling vibrant, refreshed, and ready for whatever is next.
After 27 years of helping people discover Pilates, I still get excited seeing the transformations our clients experience. And let me tell you, that’s not just the power of Pilates—it’s also the impact of our staff and the positive, uplifting energy they bring to each and every class.
Beyond the studio, I am a wife, a boy mom, a dog mom, and a passionate artist. As a mentor to other women business owners, I am dedicated to helping others grow both personally and professionally.
